Meet Dr. John Charles Frederick

Dr. John Frederick is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric eye care and eye muscle surgery. He treats a wide range of eye conditions in children, including amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (crossed eyes), and double vision, and also provides general eye care for patients of all ages. He has a particular focus on conditions affecting eye alignment and muscle function.

Dr. Frederick has advanced training in pediatric ophthalmology through a fellowship at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital. He is known for his ability to put young patients at ease and for taking time to explain conditions and treatment options clearly. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as clinical faculty for medical education programs and is actively involved in the care of infants in neonatal intensive care units.
