Dr. Jennifer Garvey

Dr. Anna Bender is an ophthalmology physician who cares for patients in Eau Claire and Menomonie, Wisconsin. She takes a warm, patient-centered approach and uses evidence-based medicine to tailor treatment to each person’s needs. Her clinical interests include cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology. She works with patients on both routine and complex eye concerns, from thorough eye examinations to diagnosing and managing common eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and eye infections. She also helps patients understand their options and what to expect before and after treatment. Dr. Bender earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed ophthalmology residency training at Indiana University.

Dr. Sasha Mansukhani is a pediatric ophthalmologist and neuro-ophthalmologist who helps children and families understand their diagnosis and choose a treatment plan that fits their needs. She earned her M.B.B.S. from GS Medical College & King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and completed an ophthalmology residency at TN Medical College & BYL Nair Hospital. She pursued advanced fellowships in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Emory University and Mayo Clinic, followed by fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include strabismus, amblyopia, double vision, and optic nerve disorders. Dr. Mansukhani’s visits emphasize education, shared decision-making, and coordination with other specialists when needed, and she remains active in research and teaching to bring proven approaches to patient care.

Dr. Shawn Sell is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced training in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. He provides thorough examinations with attention to detail and starts with practical, conservative treatments whenever possible, moving to surgical options only when they are appropriate. Dr. Sell encourages patients to take an active role in decisions and makes sure each person clearly understands their condition, options, and expected recovery. His clinical interests include cornea and anterior segment disease, partial- and full-thickness corneal transplantation, and small-incision cataract surgery. He also cares for conditions such as Fuchs’ corneal dystrophy, neurotrophic keratopathy, and pterygium. Dr. Sell completed ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School and a cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery fellowship at Cornea Consultants of Albany–Albany Medical Center. He maintains certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Patients describe his care as meticulous, transparent, and collaborative, with a focus on long-term vision health and comfort.
