Meet Dr. Jennifer Cao
About Me
Dr. Jennifer Cao is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in pediatric uveitis and ocular immunologic diseases. She provides expert care for children and adults with inflammatory eye conditions.
She earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado, and pursued advanced fellowship training in uveitis and ocular immunology at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution, where she served as Co-Chief Fellow. Dr. Cao is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and joined UT Southwestern in 2015.
Dr. Cao is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Uveitis Society, and the Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology. She has published and lectured extensively on uveitis and ocular inflammation, contributing to the advancement of treatment options for her patients.
