Meet Dr. Jay Andrew Brown

Dr. Jay Brown is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care and advanced cataract surgery. He has expertise in intraocular lens implants, including presbyopia-correcting lenses, and astigmatism correction. Dr. Brown utilizes topical anesthesia techniques for cataract surgery, aiming to enhance patient comfort.

Dr. Brown completed his medical education at the Medical College of Georgia. He then pursued his ophthalmology residency at the UAB / Eye Foundation Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He maintains memberships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Southern Medical Association.
