About Me
Dr. Jane Reeves Ellis Samaha is an ophthalmologist at the University of Florida who cares for children with a wide range of eye conditions and for adults with strabismus. She practices pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus and also provides comprehensive ophthalmic care. Her training includes medical school at Duke, a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina, ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, and a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus at the University of Michigan's Kellogg Eye Center. She enjoys partnering with families and patients to tailor evaluation and treatment plans that are comfortable, understandable, and evidence-based.
In clinic, Dr. Samaha sees conditions such as blocked tear ducts, strabismus in children and adults, pediatric cataracts and glaucoma, congenital eye diseases, and ocular motility disorders. She welcomes referrals for both routine and complex pediatric eye problems and adult misalignment concerns, coordinating closely with primary care and subspecialty teams when needed.
