About Me
Dr. James D. Boyce is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Orange County Ophthalmology in Garden Grove, California. He provides care for a variety of eye conditions, with a focus on cataracts and glaucoma. Dr. Boyce has been serving the Orange County community for over 30 years, having started his practice in Garden Grove in 1978.
Dr. Boyce completed his undergraduate and medical education at Columbia University in New York City. He then moved to Southern California for an internship at USC before returning to New York for his ophthalmology residency at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles such as President of the Orange County and Los Angeles Ophthalmological Societies and served as the team ophthalmologist for the Los Angeles Rams for 12 years. He is also a clinical instructor at USC.
