Dr. Hyong Choe

Dr. Hyong Sok Choe is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a general ophthalmology practice at Kaiser Permanente's Los Angeles Medical Center. He has specialty training in glaucoma and refractive surgeries and provides comprehensive eye care, including routine examinations and management of a wide range of eye conditions. Dr. Choe believes in the importance of preventive care and healthy living to maintain good vision.

Dr. Choe was born in South Korea and moved to the United States at age 13. He was inspired to pursue ophthalmology after his mother experienced a serious eye injury. He completed his medical training in Baltimore and later moved to Los Angeles, where he joined the Permanente Medical Group in 2001. In his practice, he emphasizes patient education and a collaborative approach to eye health. Dr. Choe is fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish.
