Dr. Helen Merritt

Dr. Helen Merritt is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in oculoplastic surgery. She is one of the few members of the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). Dr. Merritt has returned to her hometown of Dallas, Texas, after practicing at the largest private oculofacial surgery practice in Los Angeles.

Dr. Merritt has a passion for the treatment of eyelid, eye socket, and tearing disorders, and offers both cosmetic and reconstructive treatments. She has contributed to the advancement of the field through many peer-reviewed publications and presentations on topics ranging from orbital trauma to periocular cancers. Dr. Merritt is a native Texan and is fluent in Spanish.
