Meet Dr. Garvin H Davis

Dr. Garvin H. Davis is a retina and vitreous diseases specialist at Houston Methodist Eye Associates. He believes that the best outcomes are achieved when patients understand their diseases and treatment options, and he and his team strive to provide compassionate, expert, innovative care incorporating the most modern, evidence-based techniques available.

Dr. Davis treats a range of retinal conditions including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, epiretinal membrane, and retinal detachments. He is skilled in vitreoretinal surgery and utilizes innovative surgical technology and techniques. After completing his undergraduate studies at MIT, medical school at Johns Hopkins, internship at Harvard Medical, residency in ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital, and a retina fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Davis is affiliated with Houston Methodist Hospital. He speaks English and Spanish.
