About Me
Dr. Fred S. Bodker is a board-certified ophthalmologist who focuses on oculoplastics, including eyelid, tear duct, orbital, and cosmetic eye surgery, as well as reconstructive surgery and general ophthalmology. He is one of the few fellowship-trained plastic and reconstructive eye surgeons in Kansas City.
Dr. Bodker completed his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency and ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
In addition to his clinical practice at Kansas City Eye Clinic, Dr. Bodker has held academic appointments as an assistant professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center and assistant clinical professor at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Kansas City. He has been practicing in Overland Park since 1995.
