About Me
Dr. Frank Rosenbaum is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 40 years of experience and more than 50,000 vision correction procedures performed. He specializes in a range of refractive and intraocular surgeries, including LASIK, PRK, cataract surgery, and corneal transplantation. Patients can expect a thorough consultation and a personalized treatment plan designed to achieve optimal visual outcomes.
A pioneer in LASIK surgery, Dr. Rosenbaum contributed his surgical data to the FDA approval study for LASIK in 1996 and was the first refractive surgeon in the United States to use pre-Vue cards for retreatment of patients with unsatisfactory results. He also opened the first AAAHC-approved in-office sterile surgical suite for intraocular procedures, emphasizing his commitment to high-quality care in a safe environment.
Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Rosenbaum has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State College of Human Medicine and the College of Osteopathic Medicine. He relocated to Colorado in 2021 and now sees patients at the LasikPlus center in Lakewood.
