Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell

Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell is a board certified ophthalmologist who has been in private practice since 1997. She provides comprehensive eye exams and treats patients with glaucoma, performs cataract surgery, and specializes in advanced anterior segment surgery. With over a decade of experience, she has worked extensively with multi-focal implants and LASIK, and also administers therapeutic botox.

Dr. Mitchell graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical School in 1993 and completed her residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 1997. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She has practiced at Eye Physicians & Surgeons of Augusta and Southern Eye Associates before joining Eye Group in 2003. She is a member of several professional organizations.
