About Me
Dr. Edward Penick III is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in LASIK and cataract surgery. Born and raised in Little Rock, he graduated from Little Rock Central High before earning his bachelor's degree in biology from Davidson College in North Carolina. He then received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
In his practice, Dr. Penick provides comprehensive eye care, including medical and routine eye exams, and prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses. His surgical expertise covers premium intraocular lens implantation, laser eye surgery such as PTK for removing corneal scars, strabismus (eye muscle) surgery, and eyelid procedures like blepharoplasty.
Beyond clinical work, Dr. Penick serves as the medical director of Shepherd’s Hope, a local charity eye clinic, demonstrating his commitment to community service. He is married with three children and enjoys golf, fly fishing, hunting, and coaching his children's sports teams.
