About Me
Edith Reshef, MD, is an oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeon at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Instructor in Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. She cares for infants, children, and adolescents with eyelid, tear duct, and orbital problems—ranging from blocked tear ducts and eyelid lesions to trauma and complex tumors. Dr. Reshef combines meticulous surgical technique with a gentle, family-centered approach, taking time to explain diagnoses and recovery expectations in age-appropriate terms.
Dr. Reshef completed residency in ophthalmology and fellowship in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, following medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She collaborates closely with pediatric specialists across anesthesia, oncology, and radiology to deliver safe, coordinated care. Her goal is to restore comfort, function, and appearance while minimizing disruption to a child’s daily life and routine.
