About Me

Dr. Douglas Dworak is an ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic surgery, with a focus on both medically necessary reconstruction and cosmetic procedures. Oculoplastics includes a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical treatments involving the eyelids, eyebrows, tear drainage system, orbit, and facial skin.

Dr. Dworak received fellowship training in oculoplastic, orbital, and neuro-ophthalmic surgery through Michigan Neuro-Ophthalmology and Oculoplastics Plc/St. John Providence Health System in Detroit. He completed ophthalmology residency at Cook County Hospital and earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine, following undergraduate training at Providence College. In addition to reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, he provides facial rejuvenation treatments such as Botox injections, dermal fillers, Kybella treatments, and laser skin resurfacing. He aims to help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout the care process.

He received the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Best Resident Surgical Video Award in 2024. Outside of clinic, he enjoys golfing, cooking adventurous dishes, and cheering on the Chicago Bears.
