Meet Dr. Donald E Poland

Dr. Donald E. Poland is an ophthalmologist serving patients at Georgia Eye Associates in Lawrenceville and Atlanta, Georgia. He specializes in a range of eye conditions including LASIK, premium implant cataract surgery, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. With over 15,000 surgical procedures performed since opening his private practice in 1988, Dr. Poland brings extensive experience to his patients.

A native of Kingston, Tennessee, Dr. Poland earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, and completed his ophthalmology residency at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He then completed a fellowship in corneal disorders and refractive surgery at the Louisiana State University Eye Center in New Orleans. Dr. Poland is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds memberships in several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
