Dr. Denise Garcia

Dr. Denise Garcia is a board-certified ophthalmologist and oculofacial plastic surgeon who was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She earned her Bachelor of Science in engineering from Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and attended medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, graduating with highest honors.

After completing an internship at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, she completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She practiced general ophthalmology at Henry Ford Hospital before undertaking an ASOPRS-approved two-year fellowship in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle. She returned to Arizona in 2009 and has been practicing in the Valley of the Sun ever since.

Dr. Garcia is a fellow of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Her expertise includes managing abnormalities of the eyelids, lacrimal (tear) system, and orbit, as well as skin care, cosmetic facial rejuvenation, Botox injections, and dermal fillers.
