Dr. David Phillips

Dr. David Phillips is a board-certified ophthalmologist with the Quincy Medical Group Eye & Vision Institute who cares for patients of all ages. He provides comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on protecting and restoring vision through both medical and surgical treatment.

After earning his M.D. from the University of Missouri–Columbia School of Medicine in 2012, he completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and pursued fellowship training in glaucoma at the University of Utah. His clinical expertise includes cataract surgery, glaucoma care, intravitreal injections, and management of retinal conditions, along with select eyelid procedures.

Dr. Phillips aims to make visits straightforward and informative, so patients understand their diagnosis and next steps. He enjoys traveling, hunting, fly fishing, and reading outside of work.
