Dr. Darren Hill

Dr. Darren Hill is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Hill Eye Clinic who has been caring for patients in North Dakota for several years. He provides both medical and surgical eye care, including cataract removal, laser and injection treatments for retinal disease, glaucoma management, and minor eyelid procedures. Dr. Hill focuses on educating patients about their diagnoses and walking them through each step of treatment so they can make informed choices about their vision.

Dr. Hill graduated from Brigham Young University with academic honors before earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from Penn State University College of Medicine. He then completed his surgical internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where he gained broad experience in treating complex eye disease. Throughout his career he has been recognized for academic achievement, research, and volunteer service, and he has participated in domestic and international medical missions providing eye care to underserved communities. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family and is active in his local community.
