About Me
Dr. Christine Connolly is a board-certified ophthalmologist and clinical assistant professor at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She serves as the assistant program director for the LSU Ophthalmology Residency and is the site director at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa. Dr. Connolly holds the Donald Edward Texada, MD Professorship of Ophthalmology.
Her clinical interests include medical retina, glaucoma, cataract surgery, minor lid procedures, and acute conditions of the eye. Dr. Connolly provides comprehensive eye care for a wide range of conditions, utilizing the latest evidence-based treatments.
Dr. Connolly is also involved in research, focusing on the surgical correction of intermittent exotropia in children under six years of age. She is a member of the New Orleans Academy of Ophthalmology.
