Dr. Chris Raphtis

Dr. Raphtis is an ophthalmologist at Warren Eye Center in Warren, Michigan, where he provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on anterior segment surgery. He performs cataract surgery and LASIK, and also manages glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. He has been in practice in the Warren community since 1998 and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Raphtis earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Eye Foundation, serving as Chief Resident. He has published research on eyelid surgery complications and the use of NSAID drops for corneal pain, and has participated in studies on ocular side effects of medications. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Raphtis is affiliated with Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
