Dr. Chelsey Knapper

Chelsey Knapper, DO, is an oculofacial plastic surgeon who offers surgical and nonsurgical solutions to rejuvenate eyelids and restore comfort and function. She specializes in eyelid surgery, skin cancer reconstruction, and minimally invasive cosmetic treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers. Dr. Knapper earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed an internship and ophthalmology residency within the Ascension Hospital System in Detroit, and pursued fellowship training in Oculoplastic Surgery at Michigan Neuro-Ophthalmology and Oculoplastics. She also trained at leading centers including Kresge Eye Institute, Children’s Hospital of Michigan, and Columbia University. Patients know her for her warm, detail-oriented approach, careful planning, and natural-looking results. Outside of medicine, she enjoys tennis and long-distance running and is active in mission-driven outreach. Dr. Knapper’s goal is to help each patient look, feel, and see their best with safe techniques, clear communication, and a personalized plan.
