Dr. Candace Collins

Dr. Candace Collins is an ophthalmologist serving the Baton Rouge community at Eye Medical Center. She specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and treats a wide range of eye conditions in both children and adults. Dr. Collins has extensive experience in managing eye muscle disorders, including strabismus, and performing cataract surgery. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, from diagnosis to treatment, for patients of all ages.

With over three decades of experience, Dr. Collins has built a career that combines private practice with academic medicine. She serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Tulane Medical Center, where she shares her expertise with the next generation of eye specialists. Her training includes a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and she is board certified in ophthalmology.
