About Me
Dr. Bryan Goldman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Commonwealth Eye Care Associates, caring for patients from Henrico and the greater Richmond area. He specializes in corneal and cataract surgery, with a particular interest in helping patients who have complex medical histories safely navigate eye surgery and long-term vision care. Patients appreciate his calm, down-to-earth explanations and the time he takes to answer questions before and after procedures.
Dr. Goldman completed both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in neuroscience at Tulane University before earning his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at VCU Health, where he served as Chief Resident and received the 2024 Resident of the Year Award in recognition of his contributions to patients and colleagues. He is now pursuing a cornea fellowship at Commonwealth Eye Care Associates, further refining his surgical and clinical skills.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Goldman enjoys exploring Richmond’s neighborhoods, running by the river, and spending time with his wife and their cat while staying active in the local community.
