Dr. Brian Fowler

Dr. Brian T. Fowler is an ophthalmologist practicing at the Hamilton Eye Institute-East in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his medical education at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Hamilton Eye Institute. Dr. Fowler furthered his specialization with a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery through the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the same institution.

His clinical expertise includes oculoplastics, orbital surgery, and the management of eyelid disorders, ocular surface cancer, and orbital cancer. As a clinical instructor in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, he is involved in training future specialists. Dr. Fowler is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
