Dr. Brendan Cassidy

Dr. Brendan Cassidy is an ophthalmologist who has served the Phoenix community for 26 years. He provides outstanding pediatric ophthalmology at ABC Children's Eye Specialists at all three locations in Phoenix and Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Cassidy has extensive clinical experience in all areas of ophthalmology with expertise in pediatric eye conditions.

Dr. Cassidy graduated from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, completed his residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and then completed a fellowship at Children’s Medical Center of Atlanta. His fellowship included training in pediatric and adolescent ophthalmology, eye muscle surgery, and oculoplastic surgery.

Dr. Cassidy holds membership in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, the Arizona Medical Association, and the Maricopa County Medical Society. Through his work with Healing the Children, he has made several trips to Ecuador to care for children and has cared for international children sponsored in Phoenix through the organization's medical inbound program. Dr. Cassidy speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys reading, skiing, and hiking in his leisure time.
