Meet Dr. Benjamin Haden

Dr. Benjamin P. Haden is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who helps patients protect and restore vision with a focus on cataract surgery and the long-term management of glaucoma and macular degeneration. He also provides refractive surgery care, including LASIK, and works with you to choose options that fit your goals, lifestyle, and eye health.

He brings a strong foundation in anatomy and surgical training, with education that began at Baylor University and continued at Tulane University School of Medicine, followed by a year of internal medicine at Ochsner and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas–Southwestern. Dr. Haden is committed to offering modern glaucoma treatments, including Interventional Glaucoma Surgery (IGS) and sustained-delivery medication implants such as iDose TR, designed to reduce the daily burden of eye drops and support steadier pressure control.
