Dr. Ami Patel is a dedicated ophthalmology professional currently training as a Vitreoretinal Fellow at West Virginia University School of Medicine. She is committed to advancing her expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex retinal conditions through this specialized fellowship program. Her training encompasses comprehensive ophthalmology care, preparing her to address a wide spectrum of eye health needs for patients.

Dr. Patel earned her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Medicine in 2021. She is completing an Ophthalmology Residency at West Virginia University, scheduled to finish in 2025, which provides her with a solid foundation in general eye care, surgical procedures, and patient management. This combination of residency and fellowship training equips her to deliver thoughtful, up-to-date care.
