Dr. Alyssa Darrah

Dr. Alyssa M. Darrah is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care with a focus on clear communication and shared decision-making. A Cleveland native, she earned dual undergraduate degrees in neurobiology and computer science from Georgetown University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She went on to Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, and completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Darrah’s clinical interests include modern cataract surgery with standard and premium lens options, glaucoma management, and functional eyelid procedures. She also offers selected cosmetic services—including upper eyelid blepharoplasty, peri-orbital CO2 laser resurfacing, and botulinum toxin injections—tailored to patients seeking natural-looking results. Dr. Darrah is currently accepting new patients at The Eye Centers’ Middleburg Heights and Fairview Park locations.
