Dr. Alejandra Maiz

Alejandra Maiz, MD, is a current resident in ophthalmology at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center, where she is training in comprehensive eye care. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics at Ohio State University, followed by her medical degree at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Dr. Maiz then undertook a preliminary medicine year at the University of Michigan, furthering her clinical experience.

As part of the ophthalmology residency program, she is involved in patient care under the guidance of experienced faculty at the Kellogg Eye Center. Her training encompasses various aspects of eye health, preparing her to diagnose and treat a wide range of ocular conditions.
