Dr. Ahmed Nassar

Dr. Ahmed M. Nassar is an ophthalmologist and anterior segment, cataract, and refractive surgeon at Eye Specialists of Georgia. He provides care for conditions including cataracts and refractive errors, and performs LASIK surgery. He has been affiliated with South Fulton Medical Center and Atlanta Medical Center.

Dr. Nassar earned his Bachelor of Science with honors from Acadia University and a Master of Vision Science from the State University of New York School of Optometry. He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College, graduating on the dean’s list with clinical honors. He completed an internship at Metro Nashville General Hospital and ophthalmology residency training at Henry Ford Hospital.

Dr. Nassar is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
