About Me
Dr. Tayson DeLengocky is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreo-retinal surgery and neuro-ophthalmology. As an associate at American Eye Associates, he brings a holistic, patient-centered approach to treating retinal diseases, neuro-ophthalmic conditions, and vision-threatening disorders. He believes that most cases of blindness are preventable and treatable, and emphasizes comprehensive care including cardiovascular exercise, smoking cessation, a healthy diet, and nutritional supplementation for long-term eye health. His patient-centered approach ensures that each treatment plan is tailored to individual needs, promoting overall eye health and wellness.
Dr. DeLengocky is fluent in Vietnamese, French, and English, which helps him communicate effectively with a diverse patient population. His dedication to research, education, and patient advocacy has earned him recognitions such as San Diego County Medical Society’s Top Doctor and New Physician of the Year by the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association.
