Dr. Susan Carney

Dr. Susan H. Carney is an ophthalmologist who co-founded Northland Eye Specialists. Her philosophy is to meet patients' eye care needs regardless of their stage of life, offering routine exams, glasses and contact lenses, cosmetic procedures, and both minor and major eye surgery. Her goal is to care for a patient's eyes and vision for a lifetime.

Dr. Carney cares for multiple generations of families and takes time to educate patients about their eye health. She explains all details before recommending any treatment or procedure. She believes that annual exams are important not only for eyesight but for overall health.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Arkansas College of Medicine. Her clinical focus includes eyelid surgery and cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants.
