About Me
Dr. Stephen J. Laquis is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon specializing in facial, cosmetic, and orbital surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and completed advanced fellowship training with the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Laquis brings a comprehensive background in oculoplastics, offering specialized care for conditions affecting the eyelids, brows, and orbit.
His clinical expertise includes eyelid surgery, brow lifts, Botox and facial fillers, thyroid eye disease, orbital lesions, and skin cancer removal of the eyelids and face. Dr. Laquis is also experienced in facial trauma reconstruction and laser resurfacing. He has been recognized as the Best Eyelid Surgeon in Southwest Florida and was awarded Gulfshore Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40.
Dr. Laquis serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida School of Medicine and is actively involved in several professional associations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
