Dr. Shawn Richards

Dr. Shawn Richards is an ophthalmologist who was raised in Moscow. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and excelled in medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Richards completed rigorous specialty training in Ophthalmology and Eye Surgery at the University of Kentucky and pursued a corneal subspecialty fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver.

He has a keen interest in treating corneal disease and performing corneal transplantation surgery, as well as providing laser-assisted cataract surgery, bladeless LASIK, dry eye management, and comprehensive eye care. Patients find comfort in his easy-going style and honesty, and he is widely respected as a skilled eye surgeon.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Richards enjoys coaching his children's sports teams, spending time with family, and serving his community.
