Dr. Shannon Joseph

Dr. Shannon S. Joseph is a board-certified, fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic surgeon who specializes exclusively in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyes and face. She treats concerns that affect both appearance and comfort, and she designs surgical and non-surgical plans with attention to natural results and long-term function.

Her expertise includes upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, ptosis (droopy eyelid) repair, Asian eyelid surgery, brow and forehead lifting, tear-duct procedures, eyelid malposition repair, skin cancer reconstruction, and lacrimal and orbital surgery. She also offers non-surgical treatments such as Botox and facial fillers. Dr. Joseph earned her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency training at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and completed subspecialty fellowship training in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Michigan.
