Meet Dr. Sagar Yatin Patel

Sagar Yatin Patel, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who performs advanced cataract surgery and specializes in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He provides medical and surgical care for conditions involving the eyelids, orbit, and lacrimal (tear drainage) system, using minimally invasive cosmetic and reconstructive techniques when appropriate.

Dr. Patel grew up in metro Atlanta and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Miami. He attended the Medical College of Georgia for medical school and then completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He was selected for a competitive fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center focused on oculoplastic and orbital reconstructive surgery.
