Dr. Paul Lama

Dr. Paul J. Lama is a glaucoma specialist and the founder and medical director of the Glaucoma Institute of Northern New Jersey. He provides specialized consultative and surgical services for the management of glaucoma at his state-of-the-art facility in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. Dr. Lama has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, offering both medical and surgical options to preserve patients' vision.

Dr. Lama completed his glaucoma fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He previously served on the faculty at Rutgers University/NJ Medical School as associate director of glaucoma services, where he taught residents and received the Faculty Teaching Award. He has contributed to medical literature through articles and book chapters, and has presented nationally and internationally.

Dr. Lama is committed to providing comprehensive care for patients with glaucoma. He has been recognized on the Best Doctors of America list since 2011 and has participated in humanitarian missions through ORBIS International.
