About Me
Dr. Omer Gal is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in oculoplastics. Born in Israel and raised in Wisconsin, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and earned her medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Israel.
Dr. Gal pursued internal medicine training, a pre-residency ophthalmology fellowship, and research in Ultrasound Biomicroscopy in New York City. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University and a fellowship in oculoplastics in Pensacola, Florida.
Her clinical expertise includes surgical management of eyelid conditions such as droopy eyelids, eyelid malpositions, skin cancer reconstruction, Bell’s palsy, and floppy eyelid disease. She also offers Botox injections for cosmetic and functional purposes, and provides comprehensive eye care for glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and retinal issues, utilizing ophthalmic laser treatments. Dr. Gal is committed to helping patients achieve better vision, appearance, and overall eye health through personalized care.
