About Me
Dr. Neil F. Notaroberto is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in retinal disease and surgery. He serves as Medical Director at EyeCare 20/20 Retina & Vision Center and holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at George Washington University Medical Center. His clinical practice focuses on the care of patients with diabetic eye disease and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Notaroberto emphasizes a patient-centric approach, working collaboratively with patients to determine the most appropriate treatment plans. When conservative measures are not sufficient, he utilizes advanced surgical techniques including intravitreal injections, retinal laser therapy, and intraocular surgery to improve vision and prevent blindness.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Notaroberto is actively involved in clinical research, with current projects exploring digital analysis of retinal vasculature to assess stroke risk and macular function responses to treatment. His research background includes a Medical Informatics fellowship and work in bioinformatics and healthcare information technology.
