About Me
Dr. Mitchell Vogel is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea and refractive surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Boston University, a master’s degree in biological sciences from Drexel University, and his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at Mountainside Hospital, an ophthalmology residency at Nassau County Medical Center where he served as chief resident, and a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and keratorefractive surgery at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
Dr. Vogel is the founder of New Jersey Vision Associates and has been recognized as a Top Doctor by the Castle Connolly Guide for the New York Metro Area for many years. He serves as a consultant in cornea and refractive surgery at Omni Eye Services and holds teaching appointments. He is an attending physician at St. Mary’s Hospital, Overlook Hospital, and Essex Specialized Surgical Institute. Dr. Vogel provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on corneal disorders, laser vision correction, and refractive surgery.
