Dr. Michael Ang

Dr. Michael Ang is an ophthalmologist who welcomes patients to his practice. He was born and raised in Northern California but has always considered himself a Southern Californian at heart. Dr. Ang attended UCLA for medical school and completed his ophthalmology residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, which is the oldest ophthalmology training program on the West Coast. He further specialized with a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the Shiley Eye Institute/UC San Diego.

Dr. Ang practices the full scope of comprehensive ophthalmology with a particular interest in cataract surgery. His care philosophy centers on educating and empowering his patients, and he strives to provide high-quality care for every individual. He is committed to helping members achieve and maintain optimal eye health.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Ang stays active by surfing, mountain biking, and playing tennis. He also values spending time with his family and friends, which helps him maintain a balanced life.
