Dr. Mica Bergman
Ophthalmology – Oculofacial Surgeon
About Me
Dr. Mica Y. Bergman is an ophthalmologist with fellowship training in oculoplastic surgery at Sansum Clinic’s Elings Eye Center in Santa Barbara. She treats functional and cosmetic conditions of the eyelids, tear-drainage system, and orbit, with a focus on helping patients see and feel better while achieving natural-looking results. In visits and procedures, Dr. Bergman balances precision, safety, and aesthetics, explaining options in clear language so patients can choose what fits their goals. Dr. Bergman earned her MD/PhD at Vanderbilt University, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Southern California’s Keck Hospital, and advanced oculoplastic fellowship training with USC/Eyesthetica in Los Angeles. She welcomes patients in English or Spanish and has been caring for the Santa Barbara community since 2018. Whether addressing droopy eyelids that block vision, bothersome tearing, eyelid spasms, or reconstruction after skin cancer, she tailors care to each person and partners closely with Sansum’s surgical and eye-care teams.
