About Me
Dr. Megan Heil is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Boling Vision Center, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, cataract surgery, aesthetic procedures, and LASIK. She completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology at Florida State University in 2005 and earned her medical degree with honors from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2009. Dr. Heil then completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center, where she served as chief resident through 2013.
Dr. Heil is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Osteopathic Association. She volunteers with Operation Sight, a charitable cataract surgery program, and with the Kindness to Prevent Blindness mobile unit, which provides free vision screenings and exams to school children in the local community. Dr. Heil moved to the Goshen area with her husband, a gastroenterologist at IU Health Goshen, and their three young sons. She is dedicated to providing personalized care and building strong relationships with her patients, aiming to not only provide the best care possible but also to know her patients on a personal level. In her free time, she enjoys cycling and spending time with her family.
