Dr. Matthew Hammons

Dr. Matthew Hammons is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. He provides care for conditions affecting the eyelids, forehead, orbit, and lacrimal (tear duct) system for both adults and children. His expertise includes plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery of these areas.

Dr. Hammons completed his ophthalmology residency at Duke University Medical Center, followed by a two-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Indiana University. He is a nationally recognized leader in his field, often speaking and teaching at national meetings. Dr. Hammons is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He maintains a primary practice location in Fort Worth, Texas, with an additional office in Arlington.
