About Me
Dr. Matheson Harris is a board-certified ophthalmologist and ophthalmic plastic (oculoplastic) surgeon dedicated to both functional and cosmetic facial surgery. A native of Utah, his expertise includes specialized training in orbital and lacrimal surgery, as well as eyelid and facial reconstruction.
Dr. Harris is deeply committed to advancing his field through research and education. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and presented at national meetings. As an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Utah, he helps train ophthalmology residents and mentors oculoplastic surgery fellows.
Previously serving veterans at the Salt Lake VA Medical Center, Dr. Harris currently accepts patients at both the Salt Lake and St. George offices. Outside of practice, he enjoys an active family life in Salt Lake City along with creative pursuits like photography, drawing, woodworking, and learning guitar.
