About Me
Dr. Marc Cruciger is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive ophthalmological care in San Francisco. He brings over 37 years of clinical experience to his practice and recently joined the San Francisco Eye Institute in 2019.
In addition to his patient care, Dr. Cruciger has taught residents at both UCSF and California Pacific Medical Center. He has published articles in ophthalmology and neurology journals, contributing to the advancement of eye care knowledge. Dr. Cruciger is actively involved in his community, having served on the boards of the Red Cross San Francisco Chapter, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Cruciger enjoys swimming daily in San Francisco Bay, reading books, and writing essays. He is an active member of numerous San Francisco clubs and is married to Dr. Quita V. Cruciger, a practicing dermatologist in the city.
