Dr. Kirstin Tawse

I was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University, where I completed a degree in bio-engineering. I quickly learned that my real passion was working with people and transitioned to the medical field. I attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and completed my residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

Having trained in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, I enjoy the diversity of working with both adults and children. I am also interested in ophthalmology’s role in global health and worked briefly in Liberia following the completion of my training.

I moved to Colorado with my husband to enjoy the outdoors and great lifestyle Colorado has to offer. Now that I am here, I love getting outside to hike, ski, and cycle in the mountains. I value being able to help my patients achieve and maintain quality vision that allows them to pursue their own passions.
