About Me
Dr. John T LiVecchi is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon who serves as an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Director and Chief of the Oculoplastics Division at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He specializes in upper and lower eyelid surgery and a wide range of conditions around the eyes and adnexa.
Dr. LiVecchi treats patients with conditions such as blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), ectropion, entropion, ptosis (droopy eyelids), browlifts, cysts and tumors of the eyelids, tear duct problems, and provides reconstructive surgery. He also offers cosmetic procedures including Botox, dermal fillers, and laser treatments to improve the appearance of the face and periorbital area. With extensive experience, he has performed over 26,000 procedures.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. LiVecchi is involved in academic medicine, serves as an editor for oculoplastic publications, and has contributed to numerous scientific articles and textbooks. He is committed to providing comprehensive care for both functional and cosmetic concerns.
