About Me
Dr. John Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist and ophthalmic plastic surgeon with Boston Vision. He brings expertise in both comprehensive ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery, offering patients advanced care for a wide range of eye conditions. Dr. Lee completed his medical education at Boston University School of Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Boston Medical Center where he served as acting Chief Resident. He then pursued a subspecialty fellowship in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Boston Medical Center.
As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Lee performs anterior segment surgery, including minimally invasive laser cataract surgery and implantation of advanced intraocular lenses. His oculoplastic surgery expertise encompasses the diagnosis and surgical management of disorders around the eyes, addressing both functional and cosmetic concerns. He offers treatments such as Botox and Juvederm injections, and surgically addresses eyelid conditions, tear duct disorders, lacrimal gland and drainage issues, pterygia, and periocular skin tumors.
Dr. Lee also previously served as an Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Medicine and Director of Medical Student Education, reflecting his commitment to advancing ophthalmic knowledge and training future physicians.
